Join our Pop up Woodwork Day
Saturday 29th August 10am – 3pm
We have spaces on our one day course at ‘The Holbeck’. We’ll show you how to make a bird table! The workshop is funded by Leeds Community Foundation and FREE to people living in South Leeds.
Spaces are limited but all materials and tools are supplied.
Participants must be 18 or older.
This workshop will be filmed and Live Fed over the internet (Don’t worry it’s just the tutor being filmed not you!)

Want to join in at home?!
We wanted to open up the fun to people in other regions of Leeds, who are struggling with isolation or loneliness. Folk can buy a kit and join in from home for £18
The kits have work sheets/’how to guides’ and have all the wood and screws that you’d need to join in.
Please note the kits do not have tools included, here’s a list of the tools you’ll need:
A wood saw
Cross head screwdriver
Screwdriver bit and holder for drill
A cordless drill
Two drill bits 2.5mm and 4.5mm
Countersink bit (optional)
At least one clamp (G cramp, F clamp or toggle quick grip clamp
Tape measure or ruler
Combination square
Pencil or ball point pen
Sand paper
Hammer
We are also selling ‘bench mates’ for £6 to protect your kitchen table, which has mitre guides to help you cut at angles.
