Volunteer and training opportunities
If you want to be part of a great bunch of people, care about the environment, and want to do something that gives back socially, volunteering at LWR could be for you! Take a look at the different volunteer roles we have on offer below. Our staff and volunteer team includes people with varied life experiences and histories, and we do our best to accommodate people from all walks of life. So if you have some spare time and want to meet new people while learning new skills and supporting our organisation to run, get in touch for a chat or to apply.

Work Experience for 18- 25 years olds in the Beeston and Holbeck area
- 120 hours of training and work experience
- Be given the support and opportunity to take your CSCS Qualification and get a CSCS card – Free!
- Gain Health and Safety training on how to work safely on construction sites
- Training in safe working practice in vehicles
- Workshop experience, producing customer orders
- Retail experience
- A range of H&S qualifications for their CV (we have access to over 20 micro-certificates)
- Training on how to safely use hand and power tools
- Be issued with PPE Equipment which they can keep for starting a new job (boots, helmet, etc)
- Expenses towards lunch
- Training and support on how to write a CV, look for a job interview practice.
