We sand the boards on all sides with a rustic 60 grit sandpaper.

The uniform range is easier to install as the timbers are the same width, making it easier to follow a line across the room. Using the mixed range gives a great rustic look, but will involve a bit more ‘jigsawing’ as the widths are random.

The widths vary based on which option you choose. Uniform width range is where all slats are uniform in width* (*within 2mm) , whereas the Mixed range has a mix of boards ranging from 70mm – 130mm wide. The thickness of the boards are not uniform, and vary between 15mm -25mm.
